A robbery suspect was shot in the leg when he attempted to hold up a family at a Burger King in downtown Miami, The Miami Herald reports. According to police, a nearby business owner called 911 after a shootout erupted in the fast food restaurant. Police followed a vehicle from the scene and arrested the driver and passenger, who allegedly suffered a gunshot wound during the attempted robber. Although law enforcement isn't sure who wounded the man, they suspect that another Burger King customer opened fire when the robbery began. Police found another firearm in the restaurant and detained a second shooting suspect.
